Scholarship Form Now Available | Past Scholarship Winners

Over the years the George Mougolias Memorial Fund has been proud to contribute to the following:

• We have awarded over $30,000 in scholarships over the past eleven years to worthy seniors of Hellenic decent.
• Muscular Dystrophy Society - sent donation on behalf of Garfield Men's Team.
• AHEPA Marrow Donor Registry - sent donation on behalf of St. Demetrios Chicago Women's Team.
• St. John Chrysostom Monastery - sent a donation.
• Children's Memorial Hospital - donated to a heart program which aids children from Greece to receive treatment here in Chicago.
• Lydia's House - contributed clothes and food through a drive at the tournament gyms.
• Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church - donated funds for the renovation of the church's gymnasium.
• Franciscan Outreach Association - contributed clothes and food through a drive at the gyms during the tournament weekend.
• "Victory for Nicholas" - raised money during the tournament for Nicholas Kakolires, a boy fighting Acute T-cell Leukemia.
• Socrates School - donated funds for textbooks where George once attended school.
• "Adopt-a-Kid" program - purchased gifts for ten orphans during the holiday season.
• Holy Cross high school - donated funds to renovate the gymnasium.
• Donation to St. Demetrios of Elmhurst Day School.
